How officer dispatch works in Police Chief Simulator
The September 8 developer preview describes this sequence: prepare a case in the Detective Room, select it at the Briefing Board, choose officers and equipment, then dispatch.
The announced workflow
- Prepare the case in the Detective Room.
- Select the case at the Briefing Board.
- Assign the officers and equipment.
- Brief the team and send them out.
- Check the Winston Springs map for the estimated return time.

If you cannot send a team
Compare your situation with each stage above. Is the case ready? Is the correct case selected? Are officers and equipment assigned? These are diagnostic questions based on the announced sequence, not verified fixes for a known dispatch bug.
Avoid changing the case, team and equipment together while troubleshooting. Note one change at a time so you can describe what affected the result.
If the board or room is missing
First check whether you are playing a trial edition and whether your current objective has introduced the feature. Do not assume a pre-release video proves the feature is available at the same stage in every version.
